From the creator of Kannazuki no Miko comes Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora, a show about...hmmm...I'm not exactly sure...

Back when I reviewed Kannazuki no Miko, I said:

Well compared to Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora, Kannazuki no Miko flowed like water. Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora is packed with action, but you have no idea what purpose it serves. Whenever the characters are headed somewhere, you have no idea why. Whenever a new scene appears, you have no clue how it got there. Still, with only 12 episodes and a bunch crossover characters from Kannazuki no Miko, it really shouldn't be too hard to figure out what happened. Let me try to brainstorm...

• The main character begins every single line with "Greetings My Prince"
• Chikane is now "Kaon"
• Himeko is now "Himiko"
• The slutty catgirl is no longer a nurse
• There was a horse that could jump over cliffs. I don't think it died...what happened to it?
• Chikane Kaon gets bossed around by an evil cello-playing lesbian
• Supernatural crazy ass giant robots
• Gratuitous shower scenes
• Kissing exists for the sole purpose of exchanging mana

Pretty much every episode was an incoherent mess like that. I'm going to have some trouble filling out the checklist.

Well developed minor characters
Simultaneous subplots
Unforeseeable plot twists
Comical victimization
Lesbians

I give up. All I can remember is that the ending was dramatic, the show's only real strength. This series might be fun if you've seen Kannazuki no Miko. Otherwise, there's really no point.
