While I'm ranking Karin in contrived categories, it also has the second best opening theme named "Scarlet" (as if any intro could beat the Ayashi no Ceres intro):
For the record, all those nippleless tits constitute psuedo-nudity, not porn. A few years ago when I was watching Kimi ga Nozomu Eien...
Now I find out that it's official English title is "Rumbling Hearts". Give me a break. Anime titles should be deliberately incomprehensible so that elitist otakus can shun the masses and feel culturally superior. Consider the English title of the Karin manga:
That's got the be the only title to actually get more Japanese upon release in America.
At least with a title like "Chibi-Vampire", you know exactly what you're getting:

Except for being teased with the possiblity of frequently updated intro visuals, Karin surpassed my expectations. I wasn't originally sold on the concept of a vampire comedy, but in retrospect, it makes perfect sense. Artists often draw "fangs" to exaggerate expressions:
In a vampire comedy, you get fangs all the time. There's also plenty of blood. That can be funny.
The premise of Karin is that she's some sort of freak vampire who doesn't mind sunlight, doesn't hate people, and instead of sucking blood, she actually produces too much of it. She was leading a relatively normal life until one day a transfer student arrives and somehow awakens Karin's vampiric/sexual urges. Hilarity ensues.
